"I wanted to send some new pictures of Dakota, he’s the best dog (not to mention the cutest)!
We’ve had a ton of snow in the Lakes Region (of NH) so Dakota is loving it. He climbs the snow piles in the
yard, buries his face in the snow, and loves to just lay around in it.
I hope all is well - the new puppies are adorable.
Cheers,
Jen, Casey & Dakota Kreitzer, NH

"I just wanted to write to you and express my appreciation and to thank you for your support and for breeding such great dogs. We love Kate so much.
She is now 1 1/2 years old and weighs 87 lbs. She is an amazing dog. She has such a luxurious coat and a friendly nature. She loves people.
We should have named her "Happy" because she always has a happy expression on her face. She really smiles!
Kate is a happy-go-lucky dog. She makes us laugh because she's kind of big and clumsy and unaware of her size. She always bumps into things.
She loves to go on walks and she LOVES treats. We've taken her flying in the airplane and she is a great passenger. She's very calm in the plane.
But as soon as we land, she gets up and is her usual energetic self, wanting to visit all of the people! She likes to play with Bandit, her half brother.
They act like long lost relatives when they first see each other. We are lucky to have her! She is such a big part of our family. She goes wherever we go.
I already have a few names picked out for our future, second Bernese!!
Thank you again, Lois and Kenny."

"Hi Lois! I just thought I'd get in touch with you and let you know that
we love our 6 month Berner. His name is Trump and he is beautiful. What a gentle dog.
My vet says he's a keeper, great conformation, solid legs (only time can confirm this).
She also warned me that these are "potato chip dogs". . . You can't stop at just one!
Maybe in a few more years we'll call you for another one. We had Trump neutered yesterday
so he's having a lazy day, but he's doing great.
We've been at Bible Camp all summer so Trump made
140 new friends every week. He's wonderful with the kids and not apt to bark at just
anything. The staff calls him Thump. He's still growing into his huge feet.
We had him up at the cabin last weekend. He loves to go in the motor boat. I took
him out in the canoe and he only chased one duck! I wish I'd had my camera with me.
Anyways, we love him.
I included a picture of our family for you. Our photographer loved how easy it was to
take pictures with Trump. She wants to use the picture for her business card.
Thanks again for raising such wonderful dogs."

"Guinness was a surprise for my wife Kristin for our second wedding anniversary.
Kristin had no idea where we were going as we drove from Colorado to South Dakota. She was ecstatic when
she found out she was going to be a mom to a little Bernese puppy.
Guinness has become such a great part of our family. He gives us so much love and joy. He is affectionate,
loyal, smart and very handsome. Everyone who meets Guinness says that he has the qualities of a show dog.
Guinness really enjoys hikes in the back yard and he can not get enough of the snow. He digs in it, plays
with it, eats it and sleeps on it.
Guinness is very well adjusted to people and other dogs. He loves everyone and greets them with his tail
whirling around like a helicopter. He plays with all the dogs in the neighborhood every day. Guinness
still thinks he is a lap dog. He tries to sit on Kristin’s lap every chance he can. If he’s not sitting
on your lap he’s not close enough to you. Guinness forgets that he is a 105 pound puppy.
With his great temperament and overwhelming love of everyone, Guinness is going to become a therapy dog.
Kristin is a Special Education teacher and has many students with Downs Syndrome, Autism, and other
learning disabilities. When Guinness visits them at schools they all light up like it is Christmas morning.
Guinness sits calmly as the children pet him and give him water in Dixie cups. Guinness has such a presence
he turns any child’s bad day into a great one.
Guinness is incredible in so many ways. Thank you so much Lois and Kenny--and to Bear and Nya (Guinness’s
mom and dad)--for this amazing part of our lives."

"Zoey is growing up to be quite the beautiful girl. She is
about 80 lbs of pure happy dog. We just love her so much and is the best
addition to our family.
She just turned a year old on 12/12/06 and had a birthday party at her
doggy day care where she goes 3 days a week. (She likes to destroy the yard
when we are not home).
We are thinking of entering her into a dog show soon.
We'll keep you posted as to her placement."

"Bridget and Luke brought Mixie out to visit Huey today. The reunion made us all
smile.
We had wondered if they would remember each other, but as soon as they
saw one another that question was answered. Made me wish I had take one of his siblings also.
Hope all is well with you and Ken, hope spring comes soon for you. I’m sending a couple of
photos of brother and sister at play. Hope to hear from you soon."

"Oh my, has this dog ever grown! He is awesome. You can see by
the pictures what fun he is. He loves the water. He was so funny this summer.
He would hide in the grass along the canal when the kids were floating and ambush
them when they would come by and then flip them out of their tubes.
The kids got wise fast. As soon as they would hear the grass rustling around they
would jump off the tubes.
My dad has given him the nickname Yukon Jack because he is such a character. He did very
well at my daughter's 4-H show. He was a hit with all the people. She won all purple ribbons
with him.
He loves kids so much that during one part of the show he got side-tracked when some
little kids were making noise outside the ring. It was during "sit-and-stay", but he didn't
stay but ran right over to the side to do a little visiting!
Hope you enjoy the pictures and thank you again for such a wonderful dog. We really
love him a lot."

"Roman was the sweetest most beautiful dog I have ever had... He was a
celebrity in my neighborhood... everyone who crossed paths with him
couldn't help but stop and take time to play with him. I loved him very
much and will miss him dearly. I can't wait to get another one and love
him, baby him and make sure that nothing ever happens to him. Having
Roman in my life was a wonderful experience and I thank god for the
short time that I got to spend with him. Thank you."

we both named our puppies Dakota? I think I got the wild one though."

"Lola is a beautiful dog, with a sweet temperament.
She is growing like a weed, and is a very good puppy. All house broken, and she knows how to "sit" already.
She arrived to us in excellent condition, and the vet found her to be in great health. She is
now 51 lbs. at 4 1/2 months of age, but she is very gentle in spite of her size.
We took Lola to her first session of puppy kindergarten--she was the largest (and gentlest) puppy there.
The teacher was amazed at how gentle she was. It was a lot of fun!
We have had excellent results house training her, because she is a very smart dog. We have two
children, ages 4 and 7, and she is very sweet with them and is an excellent companion."
